Susan M. Arnold

President

Susan Arnold is the driving force that has transformed First Equipment Company into the open, value-driven and dynamic organization that it is today. First joining FEC in 1988, Susan served as the company’s Director of MIS for several years and was instrumental in most of FEC’s process development. With an extensive background in technology, IT and sales, Susan applies her expertise and leadership for FEC’s clients and employees benefit. She is a recipient of FEC’s prestigious Ten Year Recognition Award.

Susan is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and received a Bachelor of Business Administration with specialization in Management Information Systems in 1987.

Susan likes to squeeze in major home remodels between vacations to all sorts of exciting destinations. When not out and about, or using a sledge hammer, she likes playing with her cats – a pair of tuxedos and a pair of tabbies.

Heidi Ann Durant

Vice President, Operations

Heidi Durant brought her extensive experience in management, operations and human resources to First Equipment Company in 1994. She focused on inventory and asset management until her current appointment in 2008. Heidi is responsible for the day-to-day operations of FEC. Heidi previously worked for Prudential Securities, Inc., National Hand Tool, Roadstar Industries, Inc. and J Barton & Company among others. She is a recipient of FEC’s 10 Year Recognition Award.

Heidi graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, in 1987 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She also received her Masters of Business Administration from LeTourneau University in 2005.

Heidi and her husband Edward enjoy traveling – the goal is to see all of the Presidential Libraries, among other destinations. They also love spending time with their pets…a chubby cat and a Great Dane puppy.

J. Kevin Maberry

Vice President, Technical Services

Kevin Maberry joined First Equipment Company in 1989 and worked his way through various positions of increasing responsibility. He is Vice President, Technical Services for FEC and is responsible for the day-to-day operations, management and profitability of the First Technical Services department of FEC. Kevin built the FTS department from a dead machine warehouse to the vibrant hardware and software services department of today. He is a recipient of FEC’s 10 Year Recognition Award.

Kevin graduated from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas in 1982 with a BBA Marketing degree.

Kevin has been married for 25 years and has two daughters attending college at Texas Tech University. He enjoys sports of all kinds and spending time with his family and friends.

Jeannette L. Aguilar

Controller

Jeannette is responsible for all accounting functions including AR, AP, Payroll and cash management at First Equipment Company. She coordinates and prepares yearly audits including reconciliations, footnotes and financial statement preparation.

Jeannette graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting.

Jeannette has one child, several pets and loves reading.

Christi B. Kirk

Remarketing Manager

Christi is RGI Manager for First Equipment Company. She has been in the computer industry since 1986 and with FEC since 1990. She received an Outstanding Achievement Award in 2000 and was responsible for RGI having the highest grossing year ever in 2004. She is also a recipient of FEC’s 10 Year Recognition Award.

Christi has been married for 23 years and has a son and daughter.

Leslie R. Garner

Human Resources Generalist/Leasing Administration

Leslie is Human Resources Generalist for First Equipment Company and is responsible for the administration of health/dental/life and supplemental insurance plans and employee 401(k) plans. She received FEC’s Outstanding Achievement Award in 2000 and 10 Year Recognition Award.

Leslie received a Bachelor in Business Management in 2003 and a Masters in Business Administration in 2005 from LeTourneau University.  She has been on the Brookhaven Management Advisory Committee since 1999, at Brookhaven College.

Leslie is married and has two adorable Border Collie mix sisters – Abby and Gabby. She and her husband Robert, enjoy boating and various volunteer opportunities, including the MS Society and Operation Kindness – North Texas’ No Kill animal shelter.

Herbert (Pete) Arnold, III

Executive Vice President

Pete is Executive Vice President for First Equipment Company. He has been with FEC since 1977 and served as President until 2004. Pete began his career with IBM in 1960, and held senior level positions with Pioneer Texas Corporation, Targa Oil & Gas, Inc., and Data Automation Company Inc. before joining FEC. He is a recipient of FEC’s 10 Year Recognition Award.

Pete received a Bachelor of Science Industrial Engineering from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX, in 1960.

Pete is married and has two adult children. His hobbies include skiing, traveling and watching automobile racing.
